Movement, Stretching, and Proprioception

No wellbeing program is complete without a lot of motion, on your part!  You are a creature designed for dynamic movement and muscular activity.  Let's help you find the spark that puts your body in motion!

We offer several sessions that explore movement and prepare you for more dynamic motion.   These active edventures will put fun and movement into the same sentence for you and hopefully stimulate you to ultimately make them part of your own wellness lifestyle.

Balance and
    Muscle Awareness

Stand up straight!  Don't slouch!  Sound familiar?  Mom might have been on to something.  Turns out posture and organ happiness have a lot to do with one another.  Through this element of Health Autology you can assess your posture and your gait and take positive steps to pulling your musculature into its happiest state.

The Lymphatic System

Sounds pretty dry, this seminar, some system or other....   However the lymphatic system is actually pretty wet, seriously.  Your lymphatic system transports twice as much essential fluid as does your bloodstream.  Twice as much lymph moves through your body through this system as all of your blood.  The hitch?  It requires your movement and your attention to keep it rolling.

Essential Stretches

Elongation.  Call it Yoga, call it Manimation, call it Stretching, call it what you want.  What you want is suppleness.  What you want is an easy flow of resources to your extremities and back -- this is what streching offers.  We show the best, you do the rest.  And then rest.

Proprioception

Sense of Place is an awareness of a deep, abiding belonging to your environment.  Sense of Self, proprioception, is the same but at an individual level.  Your body provides you with many superficial telltales that can clue you in to what's going on inside.  We want to share the basics of Signs and Symptoms of your physiology and then delve into the finer points of body autology - skin, hair, eye, teeth, breath, saliva, Input and Choice.
